Well, this is so cute I’m tempted. Dr. Wicked.com runs a Write or Die website devoted to keeping you writing. Watch the video to see how it works.
On a more businesslike note, I learned today that my German publisher is devoting 6—yes: 6—pages of their spring catalogue to Mistress of the Sun. And plus, there’s talk of a special promotion. For Josephine B., they made a huge splash, awarding top bookstores with a beautiful red velvet couch. (I have two of the gorgeous pillows.) I wonder what they have in mind this time.
On a writerly note, I’ve begun some very stimulating research into the theatre world in France in the mid-17th century. I’m going to get carried away, I know.
Thank you, Mary!
The red velvet couches were an amazing promotion! After Canada and the U.S., Germany has been my biggest market — at least that has been the case for Josephine B. I hope hope hope Mistress of the Sun is well received there.
Congratulations, Sandra. I love the idea of the publisher awarding red velvet couches!
